il-Liturġija tal-Kelma

Liturgy of the Word, the first of the two principal rites of the mass, the central act of worship of the Roman Catholic Church, the second being the liturgy of the Eucharist (see also Eucharist). The liturgy of the Word typically consists of three readings, the first from the Old Testament (Hebrew Bible) and the second and third from the New Testament. The first New Testament reading is from the Acts of the Apostles, the Epistles, or the Revelation to John (the Book of Revelation); the second is from the Gospels (the four narratives relating the life and death of Jesus Christ).

Kantiku
